Comprehensive Treatment

​The goal of comprehensive ABA treatment is to bring an individual’s functioning level to typical for chronological age. Comprehensive Treatment is considered Intensive in that the clinical recommendation for treatment is between 25 and 40 hours of ABA therapy per week. Comprehensive treatment is generally comprised initially of 1:1 structured therapy that is generalized to more natural settings over time. Treatment goal areas may include cognitive functioning, pre-academic/academic skills, safety skills, social skills, play and leisure skills, community integration, vocational skills, coping and tolerance, adaptive/self-help, language/communication, attending/social referencing, and inappropriate behavior reduction.
